Harvey studied at Massey University and gained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with distinction in 2016 as well as qualifying in North American Veterinary Licensing (NAVLE). After graduating Harvey worked at the Massey University Pet Emergency Centre through a rotating internship. In 2018 he joined a Brisbane Specialist Hospital undertaking further education through a Companion Animal Surgical Internship. Harvey demonstrates a very high-level of excellence and has been the recipient of many scholarships and awards. Harvey has a particular interest in soft tissue and reconstructive surgery and has active research projects in mast cell tumours and degenerative lumbosacral stenosis in working dogs. He recently passed his ANZCVS fellowship exams.
