BVSC + Primary ICU Nurse
Stephanie has lived most of her life in Brisbane, growing up with a dog and horses. Most of her teenage years was spent competing in dressage. She started working in general practice five years ago where she began her studies as a nurse. She studied her Cert 4 in vet nursing through the Animal Resource Centre and became fully qualified in 2012. Before commencing at BVSC, Stephanie spent the last two years working at a large 24 hour mixed practice veterinary hospital, where she spent most of her time inside with the small animals but also covered shifts in the equine/large animal department.
Stephanie’s special interests lie in medicine and diagnostics, but she enjoy all aspects of nursing, especially seeing patients go home happy and well. Her clan consists of three rescue cats - Basil (pictured here with Stephanie), Cinnamon, Lucky and a retired horse, Jazz. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys reading, bush walking/hiking, going to the gym and spending time with her partner and friends.
