We believe that pets are family and deserve the best care

Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (BVSC) is looking for exceptional candidates to apply to join our surgery veterinary team of specialists, registrar, hospital veterinarian and dedicated interns.

BVSC is a values-driven, purpose-built specialist veterinary hospital supported by an after-hours emergency and critical care service, all with a culture of providing speciality care with compassion.  You would be joining an experienced, high performing, successful and collaborative team of committed veterinarians, technicians, nurses and administrative staff working in the fields of surgery, surgical oncology, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, internal medicine and ophthalmology as well as services in dentistry and physiotherapy to surround our patients with the best possible care.

This permanent position is suitable for candidates who have a strong interest in starting the pathway towards surgical specialisation, or for those looking to gain knowledge and skill in surgery. MANZCVS qualification and previous experience working in a busy specialist hospital is preferred but not essential and those planning to sit MANZCVS are encouraged to apply.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative environment and will reflect the values, purpose and values of BVSC in all your professional activities.

In addition to standard salary package, our remuneration and benefits package will include externally provided Employee Assistance Program, a bespoke in-house Wellbeing Program and funding for continuing education. You will participate in a training program that includes commitment to quality mentoring and supervision in a world class hospital.
